Fruit And Yogurt Parfait

Layer or combine fruit, berries, yogurt and granola to make a delicious fruit and yogurt parfait.  Perfect for breakfast or a snack, anytime of the day.

Fruit And Yogurt Parfait

Makes 4 servings

Tip:  To reduce calories use zero calorie Stevia.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain yogurt 500 ml
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup, to taste 30 ml
  • 1 cup dry, unsweetened granola 250ml
  • 1 cup fresh fruit (peach, apricot, mango, banana, berries) 250 ml

Substitutes:  Flavored yogurt for plain yogurt, frozen fruit for fresh fruit, any type of healthy sweetener in place of maple syrup.


Directions

Stir maple syrup into yogurt.  If using sweetened granola you may not need to sweeten the yogurt.  Combine or layer the yogurt, fruit and granola.

To soften granola, refrigerate overnight.

230 calories per serving.  180 calories without maple syrup.
